kulturelles und wirtschaftliches Zentrum. Auf einem H\u00fcgel \u00fcber dem Vinodol-Tal erbaut, war es im Mittelalter das Zentrum der Vinodol-Region, die sich um die Festung herum entwickelte, eine 1302 von den Frankopanen erbaute und im 19. Jahrhundert abgerissene Burg, von der nur ein rechteckiger Turm mit Teil der W\u00e4nde \u00fcberlebt hat. Bribir ist eine Stadt mit einer reichen kulturellen Tradition, einem sakralen und historischen Erbe.<\/p><p>Als Stadt und Festung der Herzogsfamilie Frankopan mit ausgebauter \u201eSelbstverwaltung\u201c wurde sie 1288 erstmals namentlich im Gesetzbuch von Vinodol erw\u00e4hnt, einem Dokument, das die rechtlich bestehenden Sitten, Gebr\u00e4uche und Gebr\u00e4uche zwischen Adel und Volk regelte. Von den vielen Sakralbauten ist die Kirche der hl. Peter und Paul, 1524 erbaut, hervorzuheben. Es ist ein f\u00fcr die Schutzheiligen von Bribir errichtetes Heiligtum, das die Einwohner von Bribir jeden 29. Juni mit Messen und Feiern zelebrieren. Der ber\u00fchmte Botaniker Josip Pan\u010di\u0107 wurde im Ort Ugrini bei Bribir geboren.<\/p><p>Mit seiner Struktur als kleineres Stadtgebiet bietet Bribir den B\u00fcrgern der gesamten Gemeinde Vinodol alle grundlegenden Dienstleistungen. Es beherbergt Gesundheits-, Bildungs- und Kultureinrichtungen sowie Gesch\u00e4fte, Restaurants und zahlreiche Dienstleistungsunternehmen. Auch f\u00fcr Touristen gibt es in Bribir viele sch\u00f6n eingerichtete Apartments im Ambiente typischer traditioneller Steingeb\u00e4ude der Region Jahrhundert und den Hauptaltar aus Marmor des Bildhauers Antonio Michelazzi. Zur Kirche der hl. Peter und Paul geh\u00f6rt auch das Kreuz der Krbaver Bisch\u00f6fe, das sog. Milonja-Kreuz aus dem 13. In der ersten H\u00e4lfte des 18. Jahrhunderts wurde sie erweitert, umgestaltet und barockisiert. Seinen gr\u00f6\u00dften Wohlstand erlebte Bribir in der Zeit des Herzogs Bernardin Frankopan, welcher die Festung und die Stadtmauer befestigte. Als im Jahre 1848 die Gutsherrschaft Bribirs abgeschafft wird, hat die Gemeinderegierung das gro\u00dfe und kleine Tor (\u201eVela i Mala vrata\u201c) und die Festung abgerissen, und an dessen Platz wurde eine Schule errichtet. Somit hat in den Ruinen eine lange und gefeierte Geschichte der Festung von Bribir ihr Ende gefunden. Die einzigen \u00dcberreste der Festung von Bribir sind der viereckige Turm aus dem Jahre 1302 und ein Teil der Gem\u00e4uer. Vom H\u00fcgel aus, auf welchem die alte Stadt situiert ist, bietet sich ein Ausblick auf das Tal und Novi Vinodolski. Die k\u00fcnstlerischen Werke aus der Renaissance in der Kirche der hl. Jahrhundert. Die Burg ist seit dem 13. Jahrhundert im Besitz der F\u00fcrsten von Krk und seit dem 16. Jahrhundert im Besitz der Grafen von Zrinski. Im 19. Jahrhundert wurden die Stadtmauern und T\u00fcrme abgerissen, der einzige erhaltene quadratische Turm ist aus dem Jahre 1302 und Teile der Stadtmauer an der
