Il preromanico \u00e8 presente nelle fondamenta della chiesa gotica di Santo Stefano a Drivenik e nella chiesa di San Giorgio sulla collina tra Bribir e Selce.<\/p><p>In stile gotico con una svolta verso il Rinascimento, sono state costruite la Chiesa dei Ss. Pietro e Paolo, la Chiesa di S. Anton Pustinjak a Bribir, la Cappella di S. Martino a Podsko\u010di e dopo anche la chiesa di S. Martino a Gri\u017eane, cos\u00ec come la chiesa estesa di Nostra Signora della Neve a Belgrad. Di grande pregio la Chiesa della Madonna della Neve per le numerose iscrizioni in alfabeto glagolitico, oltre che per il preziosissimo organo a mantice del XVIII secolo.<\/p><p>Tra i dipinti \u00e8 particolarmente prezioso il dipinto &#8220;Lavanda dei piedi&#8221; di Jacopo Palma il Giovane che si trova nella Chiesa di S. Pietro e Paolo dove sono custoditi anche un pregevolissimo santuario rinascimentale e un rilievo della Vergine. La Chiesa della Visitazione della Beata Vergine Maria a Santa Elisabetta a Tribalj \u00e8 menzionata come luogo di processo secondo il Codice di Vinodol.<\/p><p>I principi Frankopan e Zrinski incoraggiarono la costruzione di chiese e l\u2019arte, cos\u00ec durante il loro regno a Vinodol furono costruite oltre trenta chiese, cappelle e Pietro e Paolo, indichiamo il rilievo rinascimentale della Vergine con Cristo o la Madonna Bianca, opera di maestri fiorentini in marmo bianco, il quadro di Jacopo Palma il Giovane, opera di alto valore artistico, e la custodia rinascimentale con traliccio in ferro del XV secolo e l\u2019altare maggiore in marmo opera dello scultore Antonio Michelazzi. Alla chiesa dei Ss. Pietro e Paolo appartiene anche la croce dei vescovi di Krbava, la cosiddetta croce di Milonja del XIII secolo, portata a Vinodol dal vescovo Modru\u0161a Kri\u0161tafor la quale \u00e8 conservata a Fiume.<\/p><p>Nel XIII secolo Bribir era nelle mani dei Frankopan, quando i suoi rappresentanti parteciparono all\u2019emanazione del Codice di Vinodol nel 1288, poi pass\u00f2 ai Conti di Celje, e fu la citt\u00e0 reale di Matija Korvin. Fu di propriet\u00e0 della famiglia Zrinski fino al 1671 e l\u2019esecuzione di Petar Zrinski nella Novo Mesto viennese.<\/p><p>La citata chiesa parrocchiale dei Ss. Pietro e Paolo \u00e8 un edificio barocco a tre navate con campanile sulla facciata, costruito nel 1524 sul sito di un\u2019antica chiesa, come testimonia l\u2019iscrizione glagolitica. Molto probabilmente esisteva gi\u00e0 al momento dell\u2019adozione del Codice di Vinodol nel 1288, forse anche prima.
