Tribalj Lake is an artificial lake in Vinodol, in the hinterland of Crikvenica near the settlement of Tribalj. It was built for the needs of the Vinodol hydroelectric power plant, and later it was stocked with carp. The specificity and uniqueness of Tribalj Lake is reflected in the location itself, i.e Tribalj Lake (carp water) is located only a few kilometers from the sea.
In such a geographical position and with such a climate, fishing on the lake takes place throughout the calendar year. The average depth of the lake is 4m, and fishing is very attractive because there is no fracture. In the lake, which is 41 ha in size, the carp is the most flooded, but there are also grass carp, baboon, catfish, silver carp, perch, eel, yellow-eyed and white-tailed deer.
