Ružica Vinodola (The Rose of Vinodol) is an event that revives the history of Vinodol, and this year it is celebrated in a slightly different way, starting with the presentation of the contestants on the summer stage of the old town of Bribir, where this year’s potential roses will try their hand at “producing macaroni” and Đani Stipaničev and the band “Insula” will accompany them with music.

Beginning at 20:00 hours, on the summer stage, exiting the tower for the first time, the candidates for this year’s Rose – Ružica Vinodola will be presented to the general public, after which they will begin their first task – “producing” the Bribir macaroni, and the goal is to knead as many macaroni as possible in a limited period of time.

In parallel with the game, Đani Stipaničev will sing for us, and the members of folklore group Bribir will prepare macaroni that visitors will have the opportunity to taste later.

After the announcement of the best candidate and the award ceremony, the party is guaranteed until late at night with the band “Insula” and the rich catering offer of the Caffe bar Passage.

The competition for Ružica Vinodola 2023 will continue the next weekend in Novi Vinodolski – on August 17th the competition will be held in Pavlomir with the band “Prava stvar”, on August 18th on the Frankopan square with the band “Point” and on Saturday, August 19th along with the final, this year’s Ružica Vinodola will be elected in the old town, followed by a party with the band “Giuliano i Diktatori”.
